X-rings are used for the radial and axial sealing of flanges, sleeves and covers (static application) and for sealing of pistons and rod seals, rotating shafts and helical movements (dynamic). They are often used for quasi-static applications, such as adjustment and swiveling movements.

KTT – Student work and sealing technology
Education, training and cooperation are very important to our company, so we were pleased to welcome students to our sealing technology plant this summer as part of a student work placement. This summer, five young people worked as student workers at KTT: 2 girls and 3 boys. We talked to two of them about their experiences at the factory. One of them has just graduated from the Eötvös József Evangelical High School and has been accepted to the Széchenyi University in Mosonmagyaróvár, where he is studying agricultural and business digitalisation. The other is a third-year student of mechanical and CNC turning at the Metal and Electrical Engineering Technical School. Both worked in the material preparation hall: sorting, cutting and measuring.
